Memberlite Update 2.0.3.2: New Banners and Custom Sidebars by CPT
We’ve added a few new features and worked through some hiccups.
v2.0.3.2 allows you to set a separate banner image and featured image. We’ve also added to ability to assign Custom Sidebars by CPT. Read on for descriptions of these two new additions as well as a full list of updates.

Exploring Memberlite Features: The [memberlite_subpagelist] Shortcode
Before starting PMPro, Jason and I did a lot of custom website development. In our consulting work, we regularly used a shortcode I wrote to pull in titles and excerpts of a page’s children, with lots of attributes and display options to control the output. We call this shortcode [memberlite_subpagelist] and have included it in the Memberlite theme.
Member Directory Add On Enhancements: New Formatting, Added Fields, NEW User Profiles
Enhance your membership site with a public or private, searchable directory and NEW member profiles. The add on includes two shortcodes, which can be customized with easy-to-define attributes.
Member Profiles have special handling for file-type fields (audio, video, image, document, YouTube, Vimeo). The shortcode will embed or display based on mime type.

I recently created a tutorial video on how to set up a landing page in just 5 minutes using PMPro + Register Helper + the Memberlite theme.
The landing page in the demo gives access to a video, but you could offer other freemium content like an eBook, White Paper, audio file, subscription to a newsletter, or file download.
Social Registration at Checkout and Social Login for Your Membership Site
Many people ask about using social login (i.e. “Login with Facebook”) on their WordPress Membership Site. Meet our new Social Login add on that works in conjunction with WordPress Social Login. The Add On adds the [wordpress_social_login] shortcode to Membership Checkout, with the option to manually create the user name and password.

Version 2.0.3 of Memberlite theme is out with enhancements to the [memberlite_subpagelist] shortcode, additional color settings in Customize screen for primary navigation, a new theme customizer option to load a “dark” stylesheet (for dark/inverted backgrounds), improved formatting for comments and a tabbed display for separating comments, pingbacks and trackbacks (see demo on this post).
