Getting Started With a Payment Gateway

If you do not already have an account with the gateway of choice above, you will have to sign up for one of these accounts. For some gateways, signup and approval happens the same day, for other gateway options like it can take a week or more.

While some other membership plugins require you to create subscription buttons for each membership level and only offer off-site checkout at PayPal. Paid Memberships Pro has only one settings page to configure the payment gateway for all memberships. Just navigate to Memberships > Settings > Payment Settings.

Select your chosen gateway from the list above to view more information on how to locate the proper API keys or user access values to accept payments on your site with Paid Memberships Pro.

Don’t see your gateway in the list above?

If there is a payment gateway that is not on this list, and you would like to see it added, read here for details on how to add a new payment gateway option to Paid Memberships Pro.

Alternately, you can explore using the Paid Memberships Pro WooCommerce Add On, which offers the ability to process a membership checkout via WooCommerce.
