Filter the profile list items shown in the “Welcome” card on the Membership Account page. Added in PMPro 3.8.9.
apply_filters( 'pmpro_account_profile_list_items', array $pmpro_account_profile_list_items, WP_User $current_user );
The array holds one HTML string for each list item, keyed username and email. The output goes through wp_kses_post(), so form markup is removed. To hide an item, unset its key:
function my_pmpro_account_profile_list_items( $items, $current_user ) {
unset( $items['username'] );
return $items;
}
add_filter( 'pmpro_account_profile_list_items', 'my_pmpro_account_profile_list_items', 10, 2 );
Each item also has a CSS class, pmpro_list_item-username or pmpro_list_item-email, so you can hide one with CSS instead. The sibling filter pmpro_account_profile_action_links controls the links in the same card.
Parameters
- $pmpro_account_profile_list_items
- array; Profile list item HTML, keyed by item.
- $current_user
- WP_User; The current user.

Hooks allow you to extend Paid Memberships Pro without editing any core plugin files. You can use a hook to program custom code that interacts with or modifies code in our plugin, Add Ons, your theme, and even WordPress itself.
There are two kinds of hooks: actions and filters.
- Action hooks allow you to run new custom code at pre-defined locations.
- Filter hooks allow you to change or extend existing code by modifying the data and returning it back to the software.
Click here to browse the full database of action and filter hooks available in Paid Memberships Pro. For help extending our Add Ons, refer to the individual Add On's documentation page for a list of available hooks.
