The MemberPress Migration Add On enables you to migrate your MemberPress members, subscriptions, levels, and content restrictions to Paid Memberships Pro with a guided step-by-step wizard.
This documentation provides step-by-step guidance for migrating and configuring Paid Memberships Pro when starting from MemberPress. Instructions include what can and cannot be migrated.

Create a free account or log in to gain access to downloads and documentation.
Installation
You must have the Paid Memberships Pro plugin installed and activated to use this Add On.
- Navigate to Memberships > Add Ons in the WordPress admin.
- Locate the Add On and click “Install Now“.
- Or, to install this plugin manually, download the .zip file above.
- Upload the compressed directory (.zip) via the Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin screen in the WordPress admin.
- Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen in the WordPress admin.
After installing and activating the Add On alongside Paid Memberships Pro on your existing MemberPress site, go to Memberships > MemberPress Migration Toolkit in your WordPress admin. The wizard displays six steps in order. Each step shows its current status (Not Started, In Progress, or Completed) and can be expanded to view details or run the migration.
Before you begin: Take a full database backup. The migration modifies your WordPress database and cannot be automatically reversed.
